If you don’t know what is a rescue CD, it is a Live CD mostly used
to recover a computer when the
system cannot be loaded normally or will not allow normal operation,
such as after an virus infection.It can also be used to generally remove
viruses from a computer .

The rescue disk takes about 2-3
minutes boot.This rescue disk has one of the most irritating boot
menu.The boot menu has 3 stages.In the first stage you have to press any
key within seconds(otherwise the first hard disk is booted) to go to
the Language Menu.In this menu you can choose between
German,English,French and Russian.The next Menu Contains 5
options.Graphics mode,Text Mode,Save Hardware Info,Boot Hard Disk
,Shutdown and Reboot.

I chose the Graphical Option and the
Desktop took about 3 minutes to completely load.I was presented with the
EULA and I had to press A to accept the agreement.Then all hard disks
and usb drives are automatically mounted and the network is also
configured automatically.It then prompted me to update my virus
definitions which took about 3 mins.

Now I selected my C drive
,Disk Boot sectors and Hidden Startup objects and started the scan.My C
drive contains Windows XP SP3 and is about 5GB(31,515 files).It took 30
minutes to completely scan my C Drive.
